To be perfectly honest, he was somewhat annoyed that I got to take over our shared body tonight. It isn’t so much as the concept of having to give it up in general so much as tonight of all nights he has to give it up. It’s something that should we not have had this condition he would have been more than happy to enjoy what we have planned for tonight by himself. But it’s my time to have control over the body so he gets to only enjoy it from the side-lines, to live vicariously through me this time. He did spend some time this morning seeing the start but it would be in full swing much closer to when we arrive. That said, it is a rather cold night and the only reason I do get control to do it is the city had voted to push it back a bit. It is far too cold to even consider trying to stay outside for the transformation, so he literally just stepped outside our home to go and stare at the moon for me. Honestly speaking, he probably could have just looked out the window but I think it’s more to convince me to make sure I stay bundled up.
