Ideally there’s a particular destination that I want us to at least reach but I’m in no rush. It’s a long night to enjoy, though I imagine most will probably go to bed long before the sun comes up again. But for the time being the city is alive with activities with quite a few people just going about doing various wintertime activities. There seems to be a snowman making competition well underway, with a Glaceon walking between them all making more snow for everyone to make it easier to make and not have to go all that far. There’s also a beartic trying to draw attention as they’re trying to offer up little ice roses for people to wear. Maria half nudges me in their direction and I shrug and head in that direction. As we get close and it’s obvious we’ll take the flowers the beartic leans over and hands one of the ice roses to a little cubchoo right next to them. It is a cute enough measure, though part of me wonders whether or not them putting them on is a matter of difference in dexterity between the two or height. Either way I lower my head a bit to help them reach my hair as they slip it right in. Maria has to kneel in order for him to reach her hair. When it comes time to give one to Benny, however, they kind of stare at him awkwardly, unsure where to put it. Eventually Benny just extends their hand and the cubchoo sheepishly hands him the rose. I nod at the two and start heading off again, Benny sticking it in his pseudo mouth and holding it there.
