Once we were done eating, Maria threw away our bag and we went and started exploring some of the other features that were available for people to enjoy at the festival. There were various games being held here and there to showcase their skills. One ice pokemon was working on trying to make an extremely large slide for people to enjoy. The one that I find quite impressive is a number of pokemon all doing a balancing act on a long beam being held up by a Machamp. Another is controlling water before a third freezes that water for one of them to hop through. And that is one trick, where they are having the much smaller pokemon of the group jump from one end to the other while they are all performing tricks. And a part of me rationalizes that there is a very big reason why they are running this format. The smaller, more dexterous pokemon doesn’t have enough mass to really influence the total weight, so that as long as they land on one or the other the Machamp wouldn’t really struggle any more than normal. The three of us actually watch their entire show before they take their bow and the three on the board hop off to give the Machamp some time to rest before they likely run again.
