After we’ve finished taking care of the people in this room I don’t find anything that would we be able to use. There isn’t even anything that would be used as evidence. However, there is a large locked door that we cannot simply get around. And with the Rocket members either unwilling or unable to help us we’re forced to just wait for a moment. In the meantime, Lumen is going about trying to keep all of the ones we’ve captured thus far corralled together so that they aren’t able to get away.

“You know, you could have simply waited,” I hear from behind us while I’m trying to figure out how best to get through the door without just melting through it. I turn and see the Chesnaught from the other month walk in with a couple of humans that immediately go about taking over securing the Rocket members, none of them even seeming at all bothered as some are in the process of transforming.

“When have you ever known me to wait for you to arrive to start having fun?” Lumen jokes back.

“Mmm,” the Chesnaught grumbles before looking at the door we’re studying. He leaves and a moment later comes back in with a battering ram. We make room for him and without any further hesitation he puts his full strength into breaking through the door, hitting it with such force it even knocks it off the hinges.
