Well, FurAffinity, I never thought this’d happen.
One full calendar year since I got Elmira from
LarAnthrod, and I just happen to be on vacation to the same place I was on New Year’s last year.
Needless to say if you’ve seen my gallery, it’s been an impressive artistic journey since that day where Elmira’s existence kickstarted my art career as a whole.
There’s so many others who’ve helped me along the way, too.
LarAnthrod speaks for himself: he’s the ultimate source of my entire portfolio. Without him and Elmira, I’d never have started the way I did.
LightMizano, whose approachability and relative obscurity at the time enticed me to leave a comment or two on his artwork. That evolved into my current vocal engagement with artists I have nowadays. Without him, I’d never have entered that raffle for Elmira (or gotten such good commissions of her~).
dofunut, for being a supportive person, always there to talk with me no matter the subject—be it pictures of sandwiches, angst I’ve kept bottled up for far too long, horny ideas, or anything in between. Without him, I doubt I’d ever have stuck with what I’ve done here for so long.
In a similar vein, I’d like to thank
RubberWarhead,
Pixcello, and
LightMizano again for similarly being talkative and friendly with me. It really goes a long way in helping me find my bearings in this wild, Wild West of a place called “internet fetish artist spheres.”
Zanbon and
pleasantlyplumpthiccness for teaching me about how to draw good. Perhaps not directly, but by hosting streams which I attended, and answering questions I had. Seriously, I think watching art streams can really help a novice learn how to git gud™.
On that subject, I wanna mention https://x.com/brandonmccamey for doing a similar thing, and for posting tutorials on that gritty style you may or may not have seen in my scraps.
Chabble, for being not only an artist who draws a very particular niche interest of mine well, but also for convincing me to venture outside of my artistic comfort zone (especially for the time) by running the Powered-Up Peach art contest. Still can’t believe this guy follows me.
AyaxStudio, also for giving me feedback and advice on drawing. Really helped me learn a few shading techniques, which still get used even on this very art piece here!
9-puzzle, for mostly just giving me advice about pixel art and Perler beads. I never really posted either (nor do I make pixel art) here, but believe me, he’s been a help nonetheless.
And you, the people who watch me, stalk me, or otherwise are looking at this right now. Without an audience, what would I even be doing this for? I know that’s a dangerous mindset to have, especially since it prioritizes pointless internet numbers to have when the joy of set in itself should be enough, but it’s nice to know my work is appreciated.
Here’s to another year. See you in five months for the birthday post.

Indeed. You have no bloody idea how many kinks I’ve wanted to draw at one point or another, but didn’t because I thought my skills were barely sufficient to get what I was already drawing done.
You got me drawing shit that was new and novel. Forcing me to learn is a commendable thing, because that’s how I improved
Have a good new year, and good luck with your own artistic endeavors.
