The city of Unity is the capital city of the United Federations of New Haven. Founded by Followers of Weya fleeing persecution in North Haven, it was established to be the example of how the four mortal kinds could live peacefully, not just alongside one another but, with one another. The area was barren rocky soil, rejected by the countries of New Haven as a good location for a colony, when they arrived and it was a struggle for them to survive. United together, each of the kinds used their unique strengths and abilities and the fledgling colony made it through its first winter. A member of a local native tribe, who conveniently spoke their language, introduced them to his tribe and they quickly became friends. The tribe taught the Followers how to farm the rocky soil and the colony began to thrive. After several years, gold was found under the rocky soil and the colony quickly began to grow as they were able to import needed goods and supplies. The countries of North Haven quickly became jealous of this new-found wealth and (by secret command of their dark master) united together to plunder the wealth and extinguish the light of this growing city. A years-long war broke out but Unity survived, converting many of the colonies to their cause along the way. In the centuries since, the city has grown into a massive country sprawling across almost all of New Haven. They are a deeply faithful and moral people who honor Weya’s commands, are on the cutting edge of scientific and technological research, and strive to find balance between using the resources of Edenya while preserving it for future generations. Their history isn't perfect, and have committed shameful acts along the way, but they constantly reflect, learn, and grow as they strive to be the best they can be in all things.
