It looks like Rick is faring better after that clash of kicks than Safrina. That raccoon must have shins of steel or something... Now that Rick has his chance, it's time for him to really show what he's got and press the advantage!
This is sort of a transitional page, though it's still supposed to convey some important information. I can't help but wonder just how different the pacing feels reading the entire story together rather than waiting for and working on each page one at a time like this. I know how it's supposed to flow, but it's still a little hard to properly get a feel for the whole piece when I have my head down working on the individual parts. I do hope the posing reads well, at least. It still feels really good to work on Rick being fully in his element.
