A Sumptuous Stir-fry from the kitchens of
yelleena
This isn't a traditional satay but it tastes great and is very quick to make.
Ingredients
500g pork strips
100g peas, carrot & corn mix
3 spring onions (green onions) finely chopped
1 18g miso soup paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sushi seasoned vinegar
1 tbsp peanut butter (smooth)
2 tbsp raw sugar or honey
2 tbsp oil
2 tsp salt and pepper
Soy Chinese seasoning – soy, garlic and ginger
Method
Put oil in pan and brown the pork on a medium heat
Add in the onion and cook a further five minutes
Sprinkle evenly the Soy seasoning and Salt & Pepper
Now pour in the Vinegar, Soup Paste, Soy Sauce
Stir well and let cook for a few minutes
Lastly sprinkle over with sugar or honey and stir through the peanut butter
Allow the whole lot to simmer for five minutes
Serve on its own or with your choice of rice or noodles
Please take note that the recipe contains peanut product and soy products.
The reason there is a chicken that looks like she is laughing in the photo is that chicken, wasn’t on the menu.
