Except that Roko is neither choosing to stay there, or enjoying it. Just because Suzocon isn’t lying, doesn’t mean he’s being honest with them.
On top of that, Roko is supposed to be getting the Eyestone away from Suzocon, not “wasting time” elsewhere while Suzocon does whatever with the Eyestone in front of Brand and Saida.

Didn't claim he was being honest, just that he tends not to directly lie. He didn't say Roko chose to stay there and is enjoying it; he said he may do so. Yes it is certainly leaving information out to give a false impression and is basically "lying by omission." But he's not creating a false explanation; he's simply not providing an explanation at all. But nothing he actually directly said is technically a lie.
In the end I believe in narrative causality; while there's always a struggle, the protagonists tend to prevail in the long run more often than not. I'm not too worried. Brand and Saida already don't trust him so it's not likely they'll take anything he says at face value.

I don't think Saida-hime accepted either of their answers. She's gone to do her own investigating.
Suzocon-sama lept off the roof right about the same time. Going after Saida-hime? Or (hopefully) just another step in getting the Erzatz Eyestone charged?
Hopefully, Saide-hime finds Roko before too much damage is done. Wouldn't be too good to rescue a Nobody.

You certainly still remember the big mirrors with handcuffs and chains.
This is definitely for someone.

Betting the moment he shocks it, a trap is sprung, trapping Brand and forcing him to be a living battery for the thing. Suzo has NO intentions of letting them leave. That's why he's not staying to supervise Brand...
They know way too much about stuff he wants to keep quiet. Or didn't you notice that, for a nigh omnipotent fellow, he hasn't had ANY servants shown? A near godly being would normally have tons of servants to serve their every need., The only explanation for him living in solitude, is that he wants NO WITNESSES.
