Thankfully, it also means that they can pin the whole “stolen” thing onto Suzocon, though there’s still the issue of being in the wrong bodies, and Roko’s “infinite corridor nightmare” slowly eroding his psyche.
That said, if there was some way to resolve all the issues, I sure hope we get to see it. After all it’s doubtful that Brand can indefinitely act as Saida, given how quickly Suzocon saw through it. And if the Queen finds out that a dragon has “stolen” Saida, we can kiss our happy end goodbye.

Apparently, even when you are a yao no kaibutsukitsune, there's always a bigger fish. Considering that flash was probably seen a LONG way around, and suddenly there's a lot of dark and ominous clouds approaching, I'd say Vetra-jou is about to pay Suzocon-sama a little visit. Whether or not they have the time (Or the ability!) to save Roko on their way out remains to be seen. Just breaking the mirrors will only trap Roko in there for eternity, it would likely take another kitsune -level magic user to extract a ghost from the trap.

Believe me I'm being sarcastic. Mr. Ain't No Jive would straight up try to smite Suzocon for stealing his sister's bauble. And fail. And that's how the fight would start. Taran-ouji, Vetra-jou and Suzocon-sama deserve one another. Our Heroes' job is going to not get caught in the crossfire once the bodily waste hits the fan.
Right, true, and oh yeah. Yeah he’s definitely the kind to shoot first and ask questions never, and I can definitely picture them using the opportunity to sneak away during the clash of the titans. Really it’s the only hope they have of escaping him! They can’t fight back against him and he needs to be sufficiently distracted if they’re to avoid his attention
As a fan, I would be quite happy to see Taran take a shot of Suzocon's uzumaki weapon right in the face. Like your own medicine, Prince Charming? That BBEG fight would be such fun to watch as the audience, But holy heck, being in the middle of a war where getting hit by a stray shot erases you from existence? Yeah, "minimum safe distance" is all you can do if you are Brand and Saida.
What Mr. Arcane Aritificer wanted was a specific voltage range, i.e. a low-power blast of the lightning. If you got close enough, you could arc to it with pretty low voltage. That, however, requires a level of nuance in use of the zapper that Brand just does not have, and Suzocon-sama didn't seem to realize that.
