Virmir should had though of making an asspull like claimign to have a dragon repelling charm or something.
But since he is pretty much playing AIDungeon right now, just had to be creative and claim something like "the dragon somehow felt in love with my regal beauty" or something.

To be fair, “he” can’t really run in his current condition. Virmir must have some plan though, having defeated dragons before and being one.
Maybe the fae will cancel the contract, or at least stop their reality bending magic before it kills themselves?
Even if Virmir could lose his life, the alternative would be considered just as fatal. As such, Virmir had nothing to lose that wasn’t already at risk. Which also means the fae have more to lose then Virmir does from this move.
