I was using a lot of slate back then. despite it being fragile i just loved working on it.
this one is kinda hard to see since the figure was so tiny since i was trying to make the sky seem VAST and the moon HUGE! the background excepting for stars is done in acrylic with MY FINGERS! i love that! i just put pain blobs on the slate and stuck my finger in the middle of it and spiraled out. i still occasionally do it.
