In The Puppy’s Further Adventures, Tommy was voiced by Tony O’Dell, who appeared soon after in live action as one of the Cobra Kai members in The Karate Kid Parts I and II (a role he reprised much later for the Cobra Kai series) before landing a regular role on the series Head of the Class.
Tommy’s father was voiced by John Stephenson and his mother by Janet Waldo, both of whom were already veteran voice artists by the time this series was made. Janet’s big VA roles included Judy Jetson, Penelope Pitstop, and Josie of Josie and the Pussycats. John’s VA credits are almost too many to count, including regular roles on The Flintstones (as Mr. Slate), Yogi’s Gang (as Doggy Daddy), Sealab 2020 (as Capt. Murphy), and he was the original voice of Dr. Benton Quest before Don Messick assumed the role.
