I agree with you there. :) He was an adorable pup! Just as he's a very striking adult. Although I find it to be an extremely sad picture of him. Just thinking of what his life story foretold would be fascinating but extremely disheartening at the same time. I just want to hold him and say everything is going to be better now.

Same here :( I would hate to see him die in enslavement. I'd have to agree that it is very sad, because I almost get the feeling he may be addicted to the heroin he harvests. Or that he used to be. Each scene I hope to learn more from all of the characters, but I will be heartbroken if something bad happens to Amon.
Going to start producing the next volume immediately, or take a break?
I can't help but wonder -- I've seen way too many comics drop off the map mid-plot, and I couldn't bear having that happen here. The story and the artwork are just too wonderful. Keep up the great work!

I am curious Rukus, while I am thoroughly enjoying the Feline being a young virgin, I do think naive does not mean just fell off the tater truck. When will he realize that what is being auctioned..is HIM....
I woudl suspect his friend could put a good SPIN on it...by giving the kid an ego trip...a lot willing to play a LOT of money to be with him....While some women may big I am hoping his first time is with some guy that buys him

Might I ask then why Amon hassn't filled his little underling in on these matters yet? Or why Dhaval hassn't shown that much emotions yet about his family having sold him off (if that is even the case as it could have been someone that did it for his parents who knows but you right?)
I actually have tons of questions but I know asking them is for naught. So I only will ask the above.

Amon will fill Dhaval in more and more as the comic goes on. . . but he is sort of delaying the inevitable, hoping to break the gory details *lightly* to the kid.
As for why Dhaval's not moping more about his situation. . . he did a lot of that earlier, and if he spent the whole comic crying about his family, I'm afraid he'd go from 'pitiable' to 'whiny', which I don't want. Dhaval *is* immature, painfully naive, and a little slow. . . but he tries to have a stiff upper lip for much of the storyline.

they're imaginary. . . but they have real-world equivalents for how they generally 'sound', if you'd like to picture it that way. The comic draws very *obvious* parallels to real world cultures, I ain't even gonna disguise it. Amuresca = Great Britain , Carvecia = America , Mataa (Huudari) = Indian
