Chapter Three <<< You Are Here >>> Chapter FiveA/N: This was originally just the intro “Daring gets the Medallion back” scene for what’s now Chapter Five, but I love the “flat character has full mobility and can wobble around after being flattened” angle. It is, without question, my personal favorite angle of the fetish. So I couldn’t pass up a lengthy scene of Daring stuck flattened out, then bring Silver in on the action as well. As the scene grew longer and longer, I decided to just spin it off into its own chapter.
At first, it was just going to be Silver who got compressed, but I couldn’t tear myself from the idea of them both falling into the trap. There’s so little “intimacy angle” in this fic, I couldn’t pass up a chance at it. The compression idea is, more or less, a self-plagiarism of Spitfire’s from Fight Club. What can I say? I like the concept of a flat character having other cartoon physics fetish things happen to them and compression’s always nice. I couldn’t pass that chance up, either.
In the original ending, they were just trapped as the brick, but after I wrote that “At least the torture was finally at an end.” line, I couldn’t help but be drawn to the more aggressive idea of the telekinesis flattening them one last time. I almost didn’t do it, because of the complication it could create allowing them to “reset” for the next chapter, but it too was just too good to pass up.
Next time, mind control makes its appearance, as does the concept of a marehole cover.
