It's Day 7 of TransforMAYtion, and the theme is "Cardboard"!
My friend Calem and I were out on a nice walk in a park, when an odd stiffness suddenly shot up both our spines. Turning to make sure my friend was okay, I witnessed Calem's face start to freeze up and flatten out into a happy smile! I tried taking a step back in concern, but realized my feet had become just as flat and stuck together! An unexpected white background of some kind grew out from the sides of my feet, and a stand of some sort popped out from behind me. Our odd flattening changes progressed along our bodies, with mine traveling up my legs, and Calem's adjustments quickly creeped down her torso! I tried wiggling around a bit after my legs finished converting to 2D, being careful not to topple myself completely over. Calem, meanwhile, began to make actual headway at moving around and finding help, since her flattening hadn't reached her legs yet. But she didn't get far, thanks to the rate at which we were changing... As I felt my arms lock into place and convert into printed ink, Calem's upper legs were the next to go, restricting her movement completely thanks to the paper background locking them in place... She quickly lost balance with her lower legs, toppling backward to the ground!
Finally, our changes finished the trek across our bodies, leaving us fully solidified... Calem lay sideways on the ground, while I remained propped upright, the two of us being cardboard standees with our minds still inhabiting them! I guess a public park is as good a place as any for us to advertise... ourselves...?
