Chibi CA Kitfox
A good long time friend who was partially responsible for getting me into this fandom is the venerable CA Kitfox, aka 
steamfox here on FA. He's an artist, a modeler, and historian. I share all three with him and enjoy seeing his wonderfully detailed artwork.
And I bet he ran around his room with his models making airplane noises too. I know I did. :)

hee! I'll hafta post photos later this year of "Project NCC-1701" as I get her done in stages. :) Got one of those Polar Lights USS Enterprise kits in 1/350 scale this past Christmas from my fiance', and it's getting the full buildup, lighting and blinking running lights and everything! :) Masking and painting it will be the real challenge with all those little panels to airbrush.
Never built any ST models. I'm into 1/160th model railroading with scratchbuilding or kitbashing my favorite things to do.
I have done a lot of 1/25th vehicle models, but never shiny show cars- I preferred making them into daily beaters with duct tape windows, torn seats, mismatched fenders,etc. Tow trucks and light commercial were always a lot of fun.
