Mhm. If you don't use it, you may want to. Lighting and shading affects colour, so they'll never be the same colour as a reference sheet, for example. But my hair colour is very different then how it's supposed to be.
I'm not trying to nit pick or asking you to change it, I'm only using it as an example to help you with art in general.
Buttttt, now that I look at it again, I think I get why it's off! My hair is three toned so you used the lightest one for the whole thing. No biggie :P

Ahh I get what ive done wrong, i've used the same colour for all the appearances of you in all the various pages, but its probably too light now in comparison to your newer hair colour i used the top sort of colour from http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6594554/ this pic here as your ref. It shouldnt be too much hassle making things darker if you'd prefer, everythings saved as PSD files so changing one colour is fairly painless :)
Actually, my "old" hair colour isn't too different! It only looks really different because you're using one colour rather then the three. I actually never took into account that some people like to use one colour only (Since im pretty much the only one who draws her), in those cases, the "middle" colour is actually her correct hair colour, the rest is highlights and shading, I should probably edit my ref to explain that.
No worries, really! I wouldn't ask for changes on such a nice gift. I just thought at first that maybe you don't use the eye dropper, which would be a good idea to use but seems you do, oops haha
