Yesterday, I'd brought you 'men's tennis' in my "Roly-Polympics 2012" series. Today, I bring you something smaller and more intimate: 'table tennis'.
In this rare four-panel gag, two more behemoths - a fat panda (representing China, where 'ping-pong diplomacy' came from) and a fat rhino (from South Africa) compete against each other in a singles match; but with such bulging bellies as theirs, you'd think that it's really a doubles match!

Well, since Richard Nixon first visited China back in the 1970s, and began this so-called 'ping-pong diplomacy' - months before he was finally accused of lying, when he denied having any involvement in 'the Watergate incident' - perhaps the fat panda could be accused of pulling a 'Nixon' with his belly-bumping play!
