"Roly-Polympics 2012: Women's Marathon"

Here is my latest all-new "Roly-Polympics" cartoon gag - which is coinciding with its RL counterpart, going on simultaneously at the Games of the XXX Olympiad (in London, England)...
And before you jump to conclusions, the three characters on the left side of this image are not judges, and the numbers they are thinking of are not scores...
The lion, otter, and horse are scientists at a local 'seismic institute', determining the readings on a device that measures the intensity of a recent series of earthquakes, and the numbers they are thinking of are respective Richter scale measurements.
Of course, if this trio was smart enough to simply look out the window of their institute, they would see what is causing this so-called 'natural disaster'. Just outside their building is the epicenter of said 'earthquake': a multitude of round-bodied runners, taking part in the 'women's marathon'! This cluster of corpulent competitors includes (left to right) an elephant, a giraffe, a panda, an alligator, and a tiger (or tigress, just to keep things 'politically correct').
I'd decided to post this image at the same time and day (August 5) that the real life counterpart of this event - going on in the rainy streets of London - is occurring. Naturally, one week from now, I'll post a similar gag involving the 'men's marathon' simultaneously when the real version (of the final Olympics event) takes place...

OP
Yeah, the lines in my picture aren't raindrops; those are streaks on the glass window. If only the rain in the RL 'women's marathon' would let up...
