Following the first page, I tried a method of comic writing that depended on the character's gestures and expressions rather than written dialog to convey the story. As Zak is by himself for most of this comic, this should make sense. You also start to get a sense that those shoes are really not suited for the situation he's about to put them through. Well, at least he wore a jacket today. He's going to need it.
Pencil on bristol, brush inked then colored in Micrografx Picture Publisher, 24mb at full size.
