Snake Eyes Doubles Tournament
Game 1 - Necron/Imperial Guard vs Ravenwing/Tau
Mission: Objective taking, five on the field, pitch battle setup
Special Rules: Night fighting, Random game length, mysterious terrain, and Fast attack scoring
My list can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4345135/
My partner used Ravenwing with the following: Three full bike squads, one with the banner of devastation, Sammael on jetbike and a Darktalon
Our opponents had the following:
2 35 man platoons w/ heavy heavy squad support(lascannons), Company command squad, heavy mortar squad and Vendetta
2 squads of warriors, cryptek, 3 wraiths, Nightshroud, two lords, and an annihilation barg
Overview:
The guard player was an old friend of mine, so I knew his tactics, what I wasn't ready for was his luck. Even with night fight in effect turn one he still managed a lucky shot on my hammerhead, blowing it sky high in a single blow. This dropped my anti vehicle ability quick and with the barge heading towards me it wasn't looking good.
My partner carried the game, twin-linked bolters with the banner of devastation was a emperor's blessing as he melted every unit he hit. I got lucky after that with a few denial moves and my stealth suits selling their lives to hold down the heavy mortars and stall a 20 man group from taking an objective. My Shas'o also sold her life getting another of the guard players large squads into the open, allowing his Darktalon to vaporize them in a hail of bolter fire.
The annihilation barge didn't do much after nearly taking out one of my firewarrior squads, but better to have it shooting me in cover then my partner in the open.
In the end we held four of the five objectives for a major victory.

But like, Furaffinity, when I searched for "drones, denial" this is not what I meant.
