This was nearly ready to go out a couple of weeks ago, but a stressful week away for my third Thanksgiving delayed it.
Here, finally, is the MIDI and GP5 tablature package for Unreality - I'm going to try to start providing these right after the release of songs instead of months later from now on. The biggest problem was deciding what to do about the actual submission file - I could upload the MIDI, but that makes the page just keep spinning without actually loading anything and it makes people think the submission's broken. And I don't want to upload the same MP3 again twice in a row, so I've converted the MIDI to MP3 at only a 4000% size markup and provided that as the submission. It's not my bandwidth ;)
I always find the most difficult part of these is deciding on the fingering for the guitar parts - translating notes is slow sometimes but I can usually get the other parts done very quickly, and the guitars need three or four passes. There's a fast section in the second instrumental here where I really wasn't sure how best to finger it, and in the end I went with experimenting with a tapping section. It seems to work all right when I try it out, though I can't get anywhere near up to speed on it, but if any guitarists download this then I'd especially appreciate their comments.

Thanks for your feedback - that's good to hear! I've only really got GP5s I've downloaded to go on when writing the fingering, and a general idea of trying to keep hand movement to a minimum.
Can you describe in general what you'd change about the tapping section, at all? As the song wasn't originally written on a guitar, I was just inventing fingerings as I wrote it out, and that section caught me out as having no obvious way to comfortably play it - it would be great to have an idea from a more experienced guitarist.

well.. tapping is usually done on a single string at a time (eddie van halen style). if you aren't familiar with the technique, then you can google it pretty easily
there is two-handed tapping which implies tapping multiple strings in succession (kinda like a keyboard), but it would be a little too complex for this instance
using a major third between the 2 octaves is a bit tricky on the fretboard, it just happens to fall into a weird place
i would bring the first bar (the double C# and F) up to the B string:

--14-2-6-2-14-2-6-2
then the second bar down another string:
T T
--15-3-6-3-15-3-6-3
the last one uses the same concept, just down yet another string
the other route is to just use alternate picking, tapping has a more unique sound though

tapping is really cool technique and has a ton of applications
one of the main issues with executing it is transitioning seamlessly from tapping, back to using the pick (it helps to tap with your middle finger and hold the pick between index and thumb)
otherwise it will be disconnected and sound like a cheesy 80s metal eruption rip-off or something, which is actually cool in it's own right
