CozyCon is an online convention, hosted over VRChat, Minecraft, Twitch, and Discord. It has roots in Vancouver, Canada, and a partnership with the Uber Waffle House, which makes really sweet pastries! In 2021, they became an official partner of Furnal Equinox and operate as an online partner, while both convention groups maintain their own individual events.

CozyCon also hosts weekly and monthly events to keep people engaged in staying cozy.

CozyCon "Cozy Cretaceous," September 20-22, 2024

Time to get prehistoric! CozyCon Cozy Cretaceous took us to a valley topped with a volcano in a prehistoric world with dinosaurs!

As part of the CozyCon staff, I accidentally made the badge setup for the convention, and hosted the traditional Cozy Games session, as myself and the Comrades and Ops team have been doing for the last several months. I also got the opportunity to produce a video demonstrating how to attach the badge to a user's avatar. During the convention, I helped host the World Hop session, and the Furry Meet right after games.

The contributions made by the entire team made the convention a runaway success!


CozyCon "Cozy Arcade," September 15-17, 2023

Do you like arcade games? Then you'll love CozyCon Arcade, an embrace of all things arcade and videogames!

This time, I was asked to join the CozyCon staff, and I did so to help out where I could. I got the opportunity to flex my Blender skills and made the slices of pizza scattered throughout the world. I encouraged the Furality Online Xperience to establish a booth, and they did so.  NoxTheSergal and I were invited to host not one, but two days worth of VRChat games!

Overall, the convention was a great experience and demonstrated what we can achieve when we chill out and work together.

At peak, 1,076 users joined the Discord, with more in total recorded, along with 136 purchases of various swag, 627 visits to the Cozy Sloth Island, and 924 visits to the Arcade Vendor Hall. We set new records!


CozyCon "Cozy Dreams (Lo-Fi Slumber Party) Continues," May 20-21, 2023

CozyCon kicked off its May mini-event with a return to the familiar Sloth Island. This time, I got the opportunity to livestream for the first time, and host a two-hour game session with the help of  NoxTheSergal! We had twenty players consistently throughout the event, maximizing the game instances! I was awarded the official title of "Donor" and "Panel Host" for the event and given a special badge.

The Discord membership peaked at 1,016 members, with 136 members picking up the May 2023 Swag, 984 visiting the Cpzy Is;and, and 705 visiting the Dealers Den and vendor halls on VRChat!

CozyCon "Cozy Dreams, (Lo-fi Slumber Party)" September 16-18, 2022

CozyCon returned for September's main event, adopting a "Cozy Dreams (Lo-fi Slumber Party) theme. The merchandise depicted Connor, the sloth mascot, sleeping quite soundly in a sweet relaxing bedroom over a book and a nice warm drink, and listening to headphones with a smile on his face.

The main event featured a brand-new island world made by Lilithe Lotor, in the style of the Cozy Sloth, and the mute sloth mascot, Connor. The Furnal Equinox Dealers Den was redone to feature new vendors, the Hotel world and Dance floors were kept online, and raves went long into every night.

DJ streams were hosted on Mixcloud, which worked well to integrate with the rest of the convention. The Art Gallery also featured its own webpage and was displayed prominently in the VRChat Sloth Island.

Almost 1,000 users logged into the Discord (956 to be exact, with more unique visitors over the weekend), 216 attendees picked up the free swag for the month, 1,515 visits to the Sloth Island were recorded (with 67 favorites), and the Dealers Den recorded 1,238 visits with 65 favorites). We even maxed out our island instance on two nights, peaking at 59/40 users!


CozyCon "Cozy Wave Continues," May 13-15, 2022

The Mini-May event returned to VRChat, partying up with Furnal Equinox, with Lilithe Lotor pulling out the stops to overhaul the Hotel, Dealers Den, and dance floors for a weekend of partying! There were so many DJs this year, the event went for to straight days.

In all, 787 users logged into the Discord, 150 people bought "swag" and other goodies from the convention store, and 1,883 users visited the Dealers Den.


CozyCon, "Cozy Wave," September 25-26, 2021

CozyCon is back, and this time, it's partnering up with Furnal Equinox to bring about an awesome joint-venture convention! As an online convention, CozyCon and Furnal Equinox joined forces to host a digital convention over VRChat, Minecraft Twitch, and Discord. Both conventions have roots in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada, and came together to bring about a brilliant show of force! Furnal Equinoc made use of its VRChat infrastructure, bringing people back to the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel in Toronto, Canada, with its lobby, pool, main stage, Dealers Den, and dance floor all reactivated and updated for CozyCon.

From September 25-26, all fandoms came together, enjoying the "Cozy Wave," embracing a retro synth wave style, with panels, dancing, music, videogames, and other amazing happenings. During the convention, early registration attendees got the opportunity to pick up the Cozy Music Album from Frozen Measure.

The convention was a smashing success! I reunited with alot of great friends from conventions passed, and I got some really nice compliments throughout the convention!

CozyCon, "Summer Vacation," May 14-16, 2021

From May 14-16, CozyCon's "Summer Vacation" brought people together purely online, celebrating all fandoms from furry to sci-fi to anime. A Dealer's Den, artists gallery, and livestream covered the convention and brought it straight to everyone's computer or mobile device.

While attendees celebrated their fandoms over livestream and Discord, convention-goers came together atop the Uber Waffle House to share doughnuts!
