Velise did well
Just over a month, and over 400 ratings with a 4.8 average? NICE.
I guess there's some love for monster girls out there after all. I got some litRPG crossover from, I suspect, the dudes that heard of me but just hate harem. I got some Urban Fantasy crossover, and I got one or two PNR folks. Not many of them, but hey, it's a start.
Three projects currently in the works, and I'm honestly not sure which will get done first. TAP 4, which has a cover done for it already, Tayra, which is the second book in the WYLAMG? universe, and a new project I'm calling 7-Fold right now. That's pure fantasy, and initial reviews from a good author friend of mine and my patrons (THANK YOU) give me reason to believe it'll be a hit.
Other than that, I'm back at the house for the moment. Bike needed some repairs and I'll be picking that up tomorrow, then I have to change the fuel filter and top up some fluids in the van. I wanted to come home for that because there are some clamps on the fuel filter that, if they break, require me to order very specific replacements and I didn't want to be stranded somewhere waiting for those.
Meanwhile I'm seeing old friends, playing some disc golf, and hopefully I'll get to see some decent fall weather here in Texas.
I'm incredibly grateful to those of you who gave my work a shot, and very happy to have entertained those of you who enjoyed it. I'll keep writing as long as you keep reading.
Thank you.

Fking awesome man. I enjoyed Velise. Though as a Tarantula keeper, you putting the fangs on the pedipalps frustrated me. But I got over it and enjoyed the book with an arachnie! Very little writing with them, and I think you’re the only one that has them as actual characters in a story. I’m a big fan of your monster girl works and still consider Celestine chronicles to be your primary work. I like TAP as well. WYLAMG was fun and I’d like to see more of that setting. I would honestly like to see an ending to the story of that guy in space that had to go into the VR world to save everyone.

Yeah, I had to swap some things around and since they weren't true legs and have no real analog on a spider, I had to call them SOMETHING. Since their range of movement was essentially the same as the pedipalp and, let's face it, it's a made up race, that was what I went with. I'm well aware of the actual biology on a spider because yeah, I did some research. (and yeah, I know caffeine makes them drunk, but making it a poison worked better for the story.) :P

(( what is alcahol but a poison that you must consume a LOT of to die from? heck. doggos can eat one grape per 25-lb of dog and go into renal failure. so... fair idea~! interspecies can't always have the same digestion as humans :O all very different :D ))

Ayup. When it comes to books, it's all a question of drama. I mean, even dihydrogen monoxide is poisonous if you drink enough of it. :)

I'm here for the drama *raises hand*

Obviously TAP won't have them but ANY furry girls in these future projects?

The second book must have been great, especially if you could consult with a writer friend.

By the way, have you thought about putting your book on Amazon? It will most likely become popular. Last year I published my summaries for The Light in the Forest https://freebooksummary.com/categor.....-in-the-forest and they have become quite popular. Perhaps people are just wondering how the native inhabitants of America, the Indians and the colonialists, used to coexist, although from a historical point of view it was not so long ago. The success of my publication has inspired me to write more, but I can't find a cool idea yet. If you have a wonderful book, then maybe this is a good idea.
