Heya! I got a few messages from you guys wondering where I've been for the past 3 months. I appreciate the concern, thanks guys XD I'm back now, but I figured I should give you guys an update on what I've been up to.
First, I've been busy with organising an online furry convention. It was a small team, and there were a lot of hats I had to wear for it. Every day after work, I'd have dinner before spending literally all my free time on it. Not to mention weekends. The event went well though! We're recruiting a bigger team for the next iteration so I should have more free time!
Second, some of my projects haven't been faring well, namely the Google Doc Writer's Toolkit, and my Silver Serpent Playing Cards.
As Google update their Docs platform, I've had to update the toolkit to keep it working. Unfortunately, recent updates changed the way Google Docs work in a way that breaks the toolkit's features in ways I can no longer fix. Dark mode no longer works, and neither does the text-to-speech reader. It's sad, but I guess it's had a good run. I may update it to remove the broken features, and leave what's left. We'll see how it goes :P
For the playing cards, the company that sold my cards no longer prints Bridge-sized cards. It's the only platform I found that can handle print-on-demand with no minimum orders, and handles shipping to customers without me having to manage orders. If I want to sell my playing cards again, I'd have to find another company that prints them and go through the whole publishing process once more, or I can re-design my cards for Poker-sized cards (which is less ideal). Otherwise, it's the end of the Silver Serpent playing cards. If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it!
In the meantime, I've been getting back into writing again. I still have a backlog of stories I promised my friends, so I'm trying my best to get them all done. I may have to cancel some commissions that I previously agreed to, because I don't think I can finish them all. After that, I'd like to work on some personal projects. I have 2 plot ideas for novels that I can pursue. I might show you guys the ideas soon and hear what you think!
Lastly, thanks so much for your continued support despite my disappearance. This writing hobby can feel lonely at times. Instead of joining friends for dinner or games, my time is spent on stories. Reading your comments and chatting with you guys does help. And if you're a writer too, drop me a note or message me over Telegram/Discord. I'm looking for more writers to chat with. If you guys are interested, we can have writing sessions over Discord where we chill in call while writing our own stories. Just reach out if you'd like to chat, I don't bite X)
Sorry if the updates aren't all bright and happy. I understand that some of you just want your regular dose of erotica, without having to worry about my problems :P Maybe I'm just tired. But yeah, thanks for bearing with me X) I'll do my best to keep writing, because it's still a hobby I enjoy. I hope you guys enjoy my stories too.
