Hiatus Update
Hey there guys!
I just wanted to keep everyone in the loop that I am still struggling to find balance in my life. There have been many changes made, particularly that my mom is still moving about in a wheelchair and my oldest sister with her health issues is still at our place and needing help being taken care of. A LOT. My mom does her best to take a lot of that burden off my shoulders but I still spend 2-3hrs each day total helping them both. Working 8hr shifts 5 days a week definitely doesn't help as I have only 2 days off to relax any at all and get chores and stuff done.
With that being said, I'm still also struggling to find my way out of another apparent art block caused by stress. I want to draw so badly but there's just hardly ever time. So my hiatus continues whether I like it or not :( I'm also going to put out there that until my lifestyle changes for the better, I will not be taking anymore commissions, YCHs, or anything of the sort. I've been depressed because I have owed art that needs to be finished but I refuse to try and push my way through them as the quality suffers greatly and my commissioners deserve better than that. If you as a commissioner would rather have a refund I would totally understand, just send me a note privately and we can discuss it.
I have placed an amazon wishlist on my private FB account for items that my family may need for those that would like to lend a helping hand, but I'd rather not link it to my journal unless many people are interested. If you are just say so :) if you'd like to ask for the link privately you may also do that as well, but please take note that we are currently doing all right for the most part, it's just stressful trying to keep 8 cats and a dog fed through the winter season when they eat more. We go through 22lbs a month in dry food alone with the cats, for example.
TLDR: Art is going to continue to be scarce due to stress at home/work.

It's not fun, but good to hear you're continuing to endure, hope it eases up soon!

Sounds like it's been extremely difficult. It's supposed to be a joyful time of year, but how does it also seem to coincide with so much stress? You've had more than your share of it this year.

I've pretty much told people not to expect a whole lot out of me this year. I'm doing the best that I can but if they demand 'presents' from me they are more than welcome to come by, pick out their own soap and go home and clean that selfishness off .___.
