Ohhhh where to start? I've been BUSY as of late.
So let me break it down into the big 3 categories:
Health, Art and what's coming up.
Health: So this is a big one but I'll try to summarize as best I can here. So at the end of this month I'm due for blood tests to check and see where my A1C is at (last visit I was ~11.5) Praying it will be lower even if it's a small amount. I know what I need to be doing it's just a slow process of changing my habits. Overall I've been doing great with my Tresiba(insulin) and needles absolutely don't phase me now. Mentally I feel confident that I've finally found the right mix of prescribed meds that work well together to allow me to be a functional person. It's weird just having times where I don't have a million thoughts running through my head, it's just...quiet. I'm just focusing on whatever I'm doing in the moment and I'm not overthinking every little thing I do! So weird for me, but amazing. We love to see it
Art: Truly I have been so overwhelmed with how supportive people have been of my art this year. I set out in January with a monthly target goal of $250 that I said, "If I can make at least this much with art I'll be able to be comfortable with all my bills/whatever." and it's been smashed 3 times now. For April I capped my new goal of $300 and I'm currently working to earn enough to buy all the things I've needed for my room/workspace that I've put off for awhile. (partially due to just overthinking the purchases) I have decided to have a new YCH for each month and at the end of the previous month I will open pre-claim slots to use as examples for the "official" first sale post. It worked super well with this month's Peeps YCH so! ~~
What's next? Well I've paid off my fursuit head and vtuber model now. Those were the biggest things I've been paying off lately (which were very much worth the grind) so now I'm just gathering remaining stream things for this summer. So far I've purchased a new desk (I was using a dining table this whole time lol), keyboard tray, mic clamp, a new LAN port (I've been using a Nintendo USB LAN connector device for the Switch dfnfn), 4TB of storage and a new USB hub for my extra devices. I still need to get a list of other physical items to be comfy but now I'm just focusing on finding an artist for my overlays/other assets for Twitch.
Busy busy busy--but not too busy. I'll be coming up with a realistic schedule for art and streaming soon because I need to find a balance so I don't get burnout before I even enter Twitch ontop of pre-existing engagements (like my IRL fur meet SFE, con work etc.)
