Anesthesia isn't like in movies. When I got my tonsils taken out and went under general anesthesia, my experience was the following: about an hour or so before being wheeled in for surgery, I got some medication from the nurses for my anxiety about the procedure, which helped me relax.
In surgery, the anesthesiologist was kind and she chatted me up, while I got hooked up with Propofol (general anesthesia medicine). I was just responding to her last question... and then I was suddenly arguing with my mom in the recovery ward. No things going blurry or dark slowly, nor a cut to black. I was in the operating room, then immediately I was somewhere else.

Yeah I do have bad anxiety and I just did an online survey when it asked me if I have it and I did say yes. Wow...from your experience it sounds scary but it turned out very well. Thanks for commenting on me demoness.:3

I have also been under general anaesthetic when I needed an operation to remove my appendix after it got infected, the experience was exactly as described here. It's like an instant teleport, one second you're anxious as hell when they put the respirator on, the next you're in a ward where they put people after operations, and someone should check on you.
I was scared about it too, but if you are afraid of waking up during the operation then you can really huff that shit they give you through the respirator, that's what I did.

Like your dozing off while watching TV at night. Had that happened to me so if it's like that then that doesn't sound scary. I guess I think of this since when I had a seizure before. Maybe that's why I'm a little nervous.

It does sound like it ain't that bad. I just felt this way because of mY seizure I had before I didn't remember I was playing a game and next I was on the floor with paramedics.

Shit...it must have been scary not knowing what's going cause that's what it felt like. Families all around me with paramedics I had a busted chin in the floor and was terrified like wth just happened?

Really. Mine was just confusing and being scared. I think because of that incident I worry it will happen again even though it was one time. I worry cause of being out to sleep you know.
