Would you believe it? After being so careful, for over 2 years - wearing a mask everywhere I go - so many good test results and received the necessary shots, I just tested positive for Covid! >
Now, I'm not the only one, my sister tested positive on Sunday (though she'd been sounding rough for a while now) and my dad's just tested positive, so I had to take one after him.
Mind you, I had been with my sister over the weekend doing late evening errands with her, yet I tested negative after she tested positive on Sunday.
And all this time, I thought I simply had hayfever, as I was more sniffly and sneezy than violently coughing, which was what my sister did.
I only hope now that this clears up by Monday as;
a) My parents are off to Madeira (if this doesn't clear up, they won't be going till September)
and
b) I have a few job interview in the pipeline for next week.
Wish me luck everyone and I hope to get better soon...
7/5/22 - NEWS UPDATE: Now my mother's got it. So now they aren't going anywhere till September.
