On Separate TXT Posts

If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe - Carl Sagan
I've been thinking about this a little lately. I feel like the best way to read my stories is the PDF (or EPUB) format, since that keeps all the formatting I've set. I also think it looks the best, but that's just me.
A while back I started uploading a TXT format in its own post, as opposed to putting the story in the desccription. I've been considering going back to that, or stopping the TXT uploads entirely, but I want to hear folks' opinions on that first.
So, if you prefer the TXT format over the PDF format, I'm a little curious as to why. I'd appreciate it if you let me know here in the comments

Since about the start of this year, I've added covers to my stories, but most of them are template covers in the same style as the thumbnail. There are a couple strories with art, but not too many yet
Straight text is extremely user friendly, much more so than preformatted things that are difficult to read on small screens, or that break anyways when resized, or worse, require shifting the page left and right just to be able to read them at any comfortable text size.
