Bluesky is nice and I love writing trans stories

If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe - Carl Sagan
I feel like this happens often, falling into projects and forgetting to be social. It's been a little bit since I've gotten something ready to post here, but I've been writing a lot behind the scenes.
Before I talk about that though, I should mention that I have a bluesky. I've been meaning to bring it up here for ages, but it keeps slipping my mind. I'm over on https://bsky.app/profile/vicwaite.bsky.social if yall are interested.
In writing news, I've been busy. Earlier this month I started and finished a short story and submitted it to an anthology. No word on if it's been accepted yet or not, but either way I'm happy that I've reached a point where I feel like I have a shot at getting something published. It's been a goal of mine for several years, and it's good to be here.
I've got two other major works in the pipe at the moment as well. One of them is a lovecraftian horror novella centered around the protagonist figuring out they're trans and coming to grips with it. There's a part of me that wants to shop around for a publisher interested in it, but I could end up posting it here as well.
The other is a passion project that's trying to spwal into novel length. I read Induction by Syntax Takes a couple weeks ago (absolute banger of a story, I can't reccommend it highly enough) and it got me hooked hard on the Korps universe. I've started writing my own entry to the setting that's turned into a joint story with Jenny. It's been a blast to write so far and it's consumed me for the last two weeks or so. I'm probably going to spend the rest of the month chipping away at it, and I'll post segments of it as I get it presentable.
Come november I'll probably take a little break from it and take a commission or two and wrap up my contributions to Garuda's pokemon pack
TLDR, I'm on bluesky at https://bsky.app/profile/vicwaite.bsky.social , I've been on a tear writing some trans stories, and potential commission slots in november
