It has been four months since 24 Feb 2022, when FA suddenly got a flood of new Journals and artwork saying "OMG we're being bombed", and the 4-month-old so-called "Special Military Operation" (aka invasion, war, war of aggression, scenic tour with field mobile artillery) is still going on.  MacMegaGERC and ToriSan (and possibly ShinigamiTF and ArlequinLunaire) live in/around Donetsk city where there have been artillery/rocket explosions🔥 recently (the week of 14-20 June, see his Twitter) [DPR/Russian news blames the UA army (MacMegaGERC and ToriSan are in the city and support this version), and it has been mentioned in western media (see 1 2), but with few details and hints that the shelling in Donetsk might be a Russian 'false flag' to discourage pro-Ukrainian sentiment -- I have no way of knowing which is true but I do know that people are suffering from explosions in their city and all of them have indicated that they would appreciate some assistance/help]

By 24 June 2022, the front line extends ~2,450 kilometers (1,522 miles) from the city of Kharkiv in the northeast to the city of Mykolaiv in the south and has been changing only very slowly, with Russia losing a bit of ground at the ends of the line (near Kharkiv and near Mykolaiv/Kherson). Here is a list of villages, towns and cities near the 'front line' fighting (which has not changed much in a month): Kharkiv; Vovchans'k (town on the Russian border, 60km NE of Kharkiv, on the E bank of the Siverskyi-Donets River, 2021 est. population 17,747) [Russian controlled transportation/logistics route]; Izyum [Russian held, the forward headquarters of its operations to conquer Donbas]; Rubizhne (suburb NW of Severodonetsk, 2021 est. population 56,066) [taken by Russia/LPR/PPR ~12 May]; Severodonetsk/Lysychansk [Severodonetsk is mostly Russian held with the UA army starting to withdraw about 24 June, while its foxy sister city Lysychansk is under attack]; Popasna (a town <formerly> of ~20,000 people) [destroyed & the ruins taken by Russia ~8 May]; Horlivka [DPR controlled since 2014]; Toretsk&New York [UA controlled towns just a couple kilometers from Horlivka]; Donetsk [DPR controlled since 2014; FA members there report shelling/rockets this week]; Huliaipole [UA]; Polohy [Russian-controlled]; Zaporizhzhia [UA, safe(ish)]; Nikopol' [UA, fighting nearby but safe(ish)]; Kyrvyi Rih [UA, safe(ish)], Mykolaiv [UA, had been calmer but there were several missile attacks recently], Odessa [UA, not under direct attack while Mykolaiv stands, but still gets regularly hit by ballistic & cruise missiles, although reports are that recent attacks have been with anti-ship missiles because the Russian military is running out of land-attack cruise missiles -- maybe in another 4 months they will be firing spit-wads at it].
