I know but sadly the Orville is another scifi, what is like star trek was but still something else.

The Orville is Star Trek in all but name, but it's such a love letter to the series on the whole that you can't not take it into consideration.

Lower Decks is the only modern Star Trek show I've enjoyed. Probably because of how much it makes fun of Star Trek itself.

They are some cool stories in there that could have been fleshed out more if it was not for a comedy, yet it is still something new.

Orville nem játszik mert nem Star Trek bár jól visszi tovább az elöbbi fákjáját. Ha maradok Star Trek-ben akkor van a Discovery ami egy szégyen síros Spockkal, Picard ami még nagyobb szégyen síros Jean Lucal. Meg a TOS remake aminek hirtelen még a címe sem jut eszembe. Ezzekkel ellentétben Lower Decks leglább ad is valami új tartalmat ami érdekes is néha igaz sok sok fanservice-el, de legalább hozzá adot valamit nem csak elvett.

Már mint amikor a fele TNG volt azért, hogy legyen fanservice és lehesen hozzákötni egy másik időhöz és sorozathoz az eseményeket. Hát igen se füle se farka epizod volt.

I tried watching the post-TNG movies and associated Abramsism. Couldn't do it. It isn't Star Trek; it's bad 'alternate timeline' fan-fic. Maybe I ought to give Lower Decks a shot.

I treat that sort of thing from 'official' sources as in-universe fiction: They're things like war films and they get things wrong for a variety of reasons, (e.g. how The Longest Day has the German counterattacks on Pegasus Bridge coming from the east, even though the real ones were almost all from the west¹).

1: The exception being an abortive attack from the north by boat.

Strange New Worlds i think is kinds what Star Trek TOS would have been like had it been made today

I only saw how they remarked the Balance of Terror from TOS. Looks nice but feels kinda off.

it's only not star trek because they refused to let seth mcfarlan make a star trek show because "comedy guy". So he had to rename it to the orville.

Strange New Worlds is decent but not outstanding. Orville is more Star Trek TNG than anything else.

I saw the Oeiginal series. So that means I saw most of what Strange New World is about. The sad point to me is that the title suggest we get something new, but from the few episodes I saw I see only remakes and old ideas in a new dress.

Honestly, no. The Strange New Worlds series is actually pretty decent, it's a Discovery spin-off in that it uses some characters and ideas, but the actual direction and way it's presented is quite good. The first episode hooked me quite well with the ending, but the fact that the rest of the episodes actually played around a bit and changed their genres several times was genuinely enjoyable.

I have had such a complete lack of interest in Star Trek that I have never even heard of that show.

Well nothing much extraordinary, but I can say nothing really interest me either in today's show.

Though the show does not have that much humor. Actually, it has a few interesting ideas that show what else could have been.

Star Wars yes, star trek is a dead man walking, but there are a few steps that are a bit interesting.

I really tried but after two seasons of Discovery and one of Picard, I couldn't take it anymore.
It's lower decks really worth watching it? What do you think about strange new worlds?

I personally enjoy Lower Decks, but you have to get used to the humor :) I did like Picard too though it was a bit dark, Discovery .. well for me it is "Burnham is a crybaby again in three .. two .. one .." xD I liked the designs though a lot.

Lower Decks has a few new ideas, and episodes that had a cool and interesting premise though the show doesn't focus on that. They say it's a comedy, yeah it's funny but not a comedy for me.
Strange new worlds is uhh how to say I mostly get stuck on that I saw these ideas already in TOS and it is a shiny remake of the old one. That thing kind of puts me off from it, but again maybe that's just me.

I'd point out The Orville, but that horse is already well and truly dead in this comment section.
Still a good show though.
