I hope you manage to work out the trips, and be there for/with her as much as you can. Maybe ask Uber/Carpool with others who goes to the same place to cut travelling costs? My father does something as well, once a month He drives 3 people to the hospital for checkups. You should ask around at the OT's place, maybe you find someone to half/third the cost!
Aside of that, I am really sorry! Hope Her days will be as happy as it can be, with you being there for Her!

My condolences, but at least you have her for a while longer, and can call to talk easily even while you're not there.

A few choices.. .. close your current shit down be close to her as her life counts down...or just visit right at the end or write it all off... Ultimately how Important is she or isn't she to you. You are the only person who. Needs to know the answer to that question.

I regret not being able to do that before my mom passed away... blame it on my ex bf at the time. He refused to take me to see her, I didn't have a vehicle, but he also refused to let me go by bus or other transportation without him. My aunt offered to let me stay with her while visiting too... he was just controlling. >:/

As a cancer survivor myself, you never know just how long you have with someone you love. Look into if there's any cancer support charities in the area that can assist you or put a roof over your head while you visit.
