A Day Late, But...
I let this opportunity slip right past me and I first want to apologize. I got 1,000 views on my page just yesterday and I didn't really know how to respond to that one. I wanted to say 'thank you so much', but the paranoia and insecurities got to me first. Is saying 'thank you' really enough? I've already said it twice over; how would I say it any differently this time? Does me saying 'thank you' actually mean anything anyway?
Clearly, my conversational skills need some (monumental) improvement. Not sure if I'm ever actually going to make an effort to work on them though. Being quiet is just easier and less... frightening, I suppose? Not much scares me more than attempting to be social.
(This guy's not a social butterfly? *entirely monotone* Shocking...)
Regardless, if you're still here, I do want to express my thanks for simply giving my stuff a survey or even just a passing glance. I'll be the first to say that nothing you find on my page will be especially well done or original or interesting or (etc...), but it has been hours of entertainment for me. Having the opportunity to share it all has been such a thrill even when I continue to fret over actually submitting it.
Just to sum things up: I'm sorry I'm not very good at communication but please know that I am always grateful that you have decided to spend even just a picosecond of your day looking at what I've come up with.
Gratefully,
FtD

Congrats on your first 1,000 that fast and thats great.
It has been a thrilling ride with the lows only being the insecurities gnawing at the back of my mind, but that's nothing new. I'm grateful for the extra nudge you gave me when I first started all this.
Writing is a powerful thing.
As far as talking with people go, I'm the worst bark and bite person you are so you've survived that, keep that in mind.
And you really need to stop downplaying your own stuff like that, its very off-putting, if you don't like it why should anyone else?
And thanks are always appreciated!
I'd also like to extend a special thanks to you for pushing me to actually involve myself in the Thursday Prompt group. I compared my things to others' stories as being a participation ribbon next to gilded trophies, but it is still fun to contribute.
And you're welcome, most of all the Prompt is about having fun, it's not a competition! :)
I never really expected to earn more than ten or, if I was lucky, twenty views.
Thank you for the support, I'm grateful that you've decided to stop by every now and again.

It has been fun practicing writing skills and reading up on others' stories about the prompt. I'm always looking forward to Thursdays now solely because of the prompt.
