Dead is Bored... 3

Previous iteration of "Dead is Bored...": https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10586591/
Been a little while and I'm feeling simultaneously bored, accomplished, and stressed out (work's been busy (good, just really busy)). To that end, I decided what better way to relieve boredom, celebrate accomplishment, and remedy stress than to shout to the world about things that I enjoy?
Before I get started this time, I just wanted to take a moment to say "thank you" to anyone and everyone stopping by. Recently, out of curiosity, I checked my stats and found one of my posts broke 300 views. A kind soul had told me not to fret too much over the numbers, and I'm doing better at that, but just knowing that someone took the time to so much as just click on something of mine is a thrill that is simply out of this world. I'll never say that anything I post is quality, but it is fun to make and I'm grateful anyone might just glaze over it. With that in mind, thank you for simply stopping by.
Now then:

Like last time, let's start with something big:
Through
, I found out about the The Voice of Dog podcast. Basically, the podcast uses submissions of short stories and puts it into audiobook format for your listening pleasure (great for listening when doing chores or on long drives). I'll listen from time to time and lately I've noticed some names I actually recognize from here on FA having their stories read on the show. Personally, I find the narration has quite the charm by adding emotion into dialogue delivery; an example would be in
's submission to the podcast where the narrator gave her cybernetic vixen character a digitized, robotic, and monotone voice that really brought the whole reading together.
Writers for the show that I've recognized:

(
actually even narrates some of the posts, which is superbly well done.)
Writers for the show that I've recognized as being on FA but whose works I am currently unfamiliar with and intend to check out at some point:

I think I'm slowly coming to the realization that I don't know what I like in artworks and tend to gravitate toward music and stories when online. That said, I do keep up with a few artists and find the following absolutely phenomenal.
- Working on an interesting comic set in ancient Egypt but also produced an incredible animation that is linked below.

- Wow... That's all I have for this one.

- Both a magnificent artist and imaginative writer with quite the creative and enjoyable story worlds containing some wacky, fun, and relatable characters but also some with some rather bleak, if intriguing, stories to share. Also streams most Saturdays and has proven himself to be a very pleasant person to speak with. (https://picarto.tv/Roidh)

- Quadruple S+: simply sublime sketching skills.

For musicians this time around, most of them I have only heard one or two tracks from, but intend to dive deeper into their works.

- I'm not the biggest fan of metal or hard stuff, but Araya does also have some lighter tunes that help paint some vivid, if somber or reflective scenes in my head. That said, high school me would have loved all of it.

Like last time, I do not plan to state what I enjoy about the following writers that I'm recommending as they may vary with themes and tones over their pieces but strongly urge checking them out sometime.

Same as always, still surprises me that I manage to type up this much, but I do. Thank you all for simply taking the time to look over this and please do check some of them out as I feel that I can, with confidence, assure you that they are well worth your time.
Going to bed now but no longer bored at least,

Please do check out some of them when you have the time for it. The one's I've had the pleasure of communicating with have all proven to be pleasant individuals and absolutely incredible at what they do.
You are very thoughtful for writing everything you did. And I'm honored to make your list of personal suggestions!
I'm glad you don't mind me including you; "Synthetic" has been an absolute thrill thus far and I look forward to more when you get around to it.
Although I prefer your own narration for the audio log, perhaps you might even consider submitting LWAW at some point.
Part of the reason I'm so far behind on it is that I haven't had the time to do the voice recording and editing on top of everything else.

To be honest, I was a bit lost for a while looking for your post because I thought it had been recent and found it odd you hadn't mentioned it. One search later and I find out that you actually had the submission done two years prior! I had spent half an hour losing my mind thinking it had been more recent and checking individual pages to make sure I'm not crazy (err... crazier)...
Vix
Also, congrats on your achievement.
Also, thanks much. I still at times find it insane that I'm just here posting things and even more unreal that kind folk like yourself are willing to humor me!
My upmost pleasure.
But otherwise now I feel kinda bad for not writing more. I hope that at some point I will finally manage to, lol. For now it's really nice and enough for me to read works of others, like yours. ^_^
I'll check out the list if I have time hehe, though that may not be till the holidays.
<3
Also, please do check out some of the others when you have a moment for it; they are all most incredible, for sure.
And I'm glad you found the Voice of Dog and yes they did a really good job! Though I've been unable to find any way to download an MP3 of that reading they did if you have any ideas?
Also thanks for the mention! I recognise some of these artists, musicians and writers but not others, thanks for the recommendations!
Out curiosity, since you asked about it, I checked the podcast's website and there is a download option under the share tab for the listed posts. Otherwise, if you have a Spotify, you should be able to download relatively easily from the menu there.
I hope if you have the time for it that you find something enjoyable about the users you don't recognise.
You FtD, are a genius! Thank you ;)
