If you're interested in growing your fanbase faster - I would recommend you to publish an artwork per day but not more, otherwise the view rate would drop. It will be much easier if you use upload automation software like PostyBirb - this way you can add those 50 pieces in a queue in a single day and then just make sure your computer is online and postybirb is running when it's upload time.

From a viewer's perspective it's also quite tedious to look through such a huge batch in one sitting and watching a publication daily would be easier.

I have tried postybirb and FABUI, though my main gripe is leaving my computer on while asleep or otherwise not at it. xwx Not really a fond fan of leaving things running like that...

I also figured out that while FABUI uses cookies to keep information like ratings, categories, and tags for queued uploads, it still wipes written descriptions when the browser window is closed and re-opened or the computer is restarted.

You can set it to schedule the post when you know you're usually at your computer. Or you can mostly set it up and manually hit the post button when its convenient. Honestly I do the latter because I procrastinate way way too much, and never fill out postybirb until its time to hit the post button xP.

I agree with rednasty; it's also easier to manage for people who check in every day

I'd say no more than three a day.

Mass uploads don't bother me, but when I see artists do that, I honestly find myself only clicking on the image thumbnails that really catch my eye and skipping the rest.

I'm more likely to take the time to view more images when it's not going to be a 2 hour endeavor.

I feel like Mass Uploads are worse simply because seeing a huge content dump of artwork doesn't encourage interaction and instead makes eyes skim over all the art versus individually viewing each piece

Personally I upload once per day because I tend to barely glance at most pieces in a mass upload. I think it also gives each artwork a sufficient chance to be appreciated.

If you find you're having troubles remember to upload every day and don't already use PostyBirb, I highly recommend checking it out for the scheduling feature! I myself have a backlog of ~35 that I finally started posting and would probably never get through it all if I couldn't schedule them ahead.

Is a combination of forgetting to upload and admittedly being very intimated by the work I have set up for myself if I were to sit down and queue up everything like that.. ;v;

Regardless, hearing the ubiquitousness of folks preferring that art being uploaded one by one on a daily basis, I will be making more efforts to getting that queue set up! Maybe I'll schedule a small handful of pieces at a time, so I can manage the issue of FABUI replacing the descriptions easier.

Whenever people mass upload they rarely put good descriptions on each thing.

Consistent posting is probably much better vs just dumping a shitload at once, from my experiance
