Star Citizen free flight event
Hello everyone, I am usually not someone to post advertisements here, but as I have been enjoying that game for quite a while now myself I thought I'd post it here for all the people who are interested in scifi/space games:
Star Citizen has a free flight event going until the end of may during the so called "invictus week" where you can play for free and test out a variety of ships for free as long as the convention is on. So if you have been interested into that game but weren't sure it is worth it, now it's a chance to try it for free.
Here you get to their page: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/
And if you create an account, feel free to use my referal code: STAR-J3QM-XDXM
The code will grant you extra 5000 UEC (ingame money) when the game eventually will be set into the release state and if you decide to pledge and buy a ship (not necessary to do so at all!) grant me a small bonus as well.
If you are interested, take the time to test it, it's free until the end of May.
And if not, just feel free to ignore this journal, as it has nothing else of importance to say XD
Sincerly, Nachtschwinge

The entry cost is rather large for "I just want to try if it's what I'm looking for" and I knew that there are a free events like this :3
If you have any questions, I am happy to offer and answer anything you'd be curious to know about because things around that game are complex and it took me about a year to understand it to the point where I feel confident with most parts of the game. <^w^>
Thanks, I'll ping you if I'll encounter some problems. Or I'll see you in SC :D
I only hop on and play a little bit after each patch for the most part so far just to dabble with the new things that come out then wait for the next one. I quite enjoy the salvaging stuff they added recently.
Funny enough I recently discovered salvaging is quite e relaxing activity, been doing it with groups of people on a reclaimer. :D
The game has definitely become a lot more playable in the last two years or so. Things like the persistence have helped give a reason to play.
Salvaging is definitely relaxing, and the coordination potential is quite fun. I've Been trying to pair some folks with a hull A or similar to go with my vulture and experiment with keeping the salvager on site longer but difficult without enoufh people and finding the right scrap.
In a similar vein, I've had some good fun crewing a Mole and doing a mining operation. Something about coordinating 3-4 people for a common purpose in a non-combat role that is just really fun.
