I can see a future where one big chunk of fandom resides on Bluesky and another big chunk resides on Mastodon, with plenty of overlap between the two.

And honestly I'm okay with that if it shakes out that way. I'll be staying active on Mastodon for the foreseeable future.

I am very happy you count the Cooner-friend amongst yours, and I hope that one day he and I might reckon between us likewise. I've tried on many occasions to converse with him, usually in comment here on his FurAffinity postings, later on FurAffinity, Twitter, most recently on Mastodon and BlueSky and he's chosen not to respond as of this post.

I wish I had found the confidence to report to his Antarctic Press comics in the 1990s, when I got started as a fan of his and anthropomorphic animal narrative and reality met to the fur and flesh of brachiate mammals far more like humans than bearing lack of overlap, and as often as they fear and grieve, can love and reason together, find compromise and company, as humans do operating on their best parts and instincts, the latter of which we so often ignore. A good plate of homemade Buffalo Wings and a new 5-disc CD changer are nothing to sneeze at, or trip over. And we try not to drop either before we enjoy them.

Thirty years and a touch into my fandom, I am now writing and drawing my first submissions to be sent the way of a comic publisher, and this will be in response to the open invite by Antarctic Press, to the newly remuxed and rewelcomed Furrlough to be put to publish again, in a little while and not so far away. I want Cooner to know his dreams and vision, shared with a younger Twopaw, got me there on the Shoulders of Giants, as I hope any fellow operator of creation would cherish, even though it took thirty years of Courage's Enterprise to get me this far to meet the tidings of the Warrior-Hospitaler of Peace, the Battlefield Chaplain of Heart's Honesty.

Hope is our gravity, I think, said a little  genesisw songbird of good faith and better hugs to me once, but hope is also like madness: all it takes is a little push, a Little Tale to harrow the Sheol of the First Trials of Pain and Truth, and know the Genesis of Novelty and Surprising, Unblinding Brightness. I would not be where I am without the gift of the Dreamlines of others, who helped me forge my own that I sing down today.

If I am right, we are destined to do this forever. And it's only forever: I choose permanence, and posterity, and enterprise. I ask only a tall ship, and a star to steer her by. And a centre seat to share with you all, in proper measure.

You, sir Bruff, are welcome. <3 A friendly badger is the best, because it means they're not trying to crush you underfoot for your trespass. They might do it if that's their method of hug, or you ask first. Believe me, I know my lovely titaness Bala Bajr, and she is aware of my interests, and that I am rapt-heart gaol of hers, no matter how much a Creation-Destruction Goddess dislikes limits.
