My fiancee should consider himself very fortunate to have met Mark Merlino aka Sylys Sabel at his first furcon. Mark jumping into furry waaaaay back in 1971, that's right 1971, is considered the founding father of the Furry Fandom. Sadly Mark lost a battle with stage IV liver cancer. Thank you for blazing a trail that has lead to the wonderful and fun thing known as the Furry Fandom. I do not want to kick cancer to the curb. I want to slice at cancer with a sheet of paper, giving it a thousand paper cuts, and then I will pour a mixture of salt, vinegar, and lemon juice into those paper cuts. I want to grab a baseball bat and beat cancer to within an inch of its life, breaking every bone in its body. I want to set fire to cancer and listen to its screams as it writhes in pain. And when it is finally dead, I want to bury it in the woods somewhere where none shall come to mourn it.
