Asleep is always fun for foot worship and tickling! Plus, the sleepy feet are always emitting a warm aura during such a state, and the scent is rather light too. Worshiping sleepy feet is like having some alone time with them in a sense, as one sniffles them, lightly kisses and them or licks em and whatnot for what could be hours. Heck, depending on if they are a heavy or light sleeper, it adds a bit of caution or lack therof, enforcing either gentler worship approaches or more gungho slobbery ones. I'm sure that you'll draw the scenario of your choice very well though~ I am a fan of your artwork after all. (Also, its the most fun in such a scenario when the sleepy one doesn't even ever wake up midway through, least to me. Seems more fun if they tank through the whole thing and not aware of the other indulging in their feet. (or tickling em for that matter) Makes it cuter, at least to me for some reason. As if one is 'saying' to their feet "this is our little secret, darling~"
