An update of things

Hello all, here's an update on how things are going.
When last we left, several months ago, my life had gone to absolute crap. My mom got hospitalized, I got covid, my dad got covid, christmas got cancelled... etc....
Things have improved somewhat. The covid was dealt with via a treatment with paxlovid. (Which worked but left a horrible earwaxy taste in my mouth for a couple weeks, thank gawd (and torc) for altoids)
My mother has regained the ability to stand up on her own, though she gets around the house with a walker now. The various wounds and sores she had picked up from being in bed and flat on her back for two months have all but healed. She can dress herself, she doesn't need constant 24 hour monitoring.
Things are returning almost to normal-ish, though I am still fighting with my inner clock after decades of working all night and sleeping all day.
And this is because I am full-time looking after both of my parents still. Preparing all the meals, managing the pill doses that go with each of their meals, and since I'm the only one capable of driving here anymore I'm also running all the errands, doing all the grocery shopping, answering all the phones, and making and driving them to all their doctor appointments.... which means I've basically become their full time butler, maid and personal secretary.
Up at 8:00 am, dead on my feet and usually crashing hard by 8:00 pm.
But in the scant few free moments I have between alarms to make this meal or deliver those pills, or run that errand, and this needs to be picked up at the pharmacy, go go go..... I am going to tentatively attempt to get back to working on the art that I owe people.
So you should be seeing something new from me soon, for a variable quantity of soon.
I am managing to cope, for the moment.
I do kind of want my life back though.

Just remember to try and take care of yourself. Those who want to understand, will. Those who don't typically aren't neccesary to have adding burden to your life.
Again, your parents are so fortunate to have a son like you *hugs*
Do your best to take of yourself during all this. I hope things get better <3
because its been over a month since we heard from you last. I'm glad
you mom is getting better, and can take care of herself now some.
As for the art, don't worry about it. Prae and I would rather you spend
any free time resting and recovering. We'll still be here, when things
finally calm down again and you have plenty of time for fun stuff
again.
