Hey all. It's been a month so I guess I owe you all another update.
Mom had knee surgery on the 30th. She is now in recovery mode from that.
She has a sort of electric Igloo Cooler with a pump and hose that extends out to a knee brace which is supposed to keep her knee iced as she recovers. She's also on a couple painkillers and a whole rack of new medications. All of which it's my job to dole out and deliver. Which means I'm now on 24-hour pill watch and getting basically no sleep.
But this is the point where things are supposed to start getting better. And after four days of remaining pretty much laid out on the downstairs couch, she just now made her way to to the top level of the house and back again, just to get her earrings in. (she didn't want the piercings closing up)
So things may be improving finally.
