New year, who dis?

And so that was Christmas....
Hey all, seeing as how it's now a New Year and all, and since the snow is falling and I won't have to go anywhere to do a thing today, I can finally take a moment to catch you all up on the current state of my existence.
The holidays were a bucketload of stress, and I think I might have actually started getting an ulcer there for awhile, but whatever it was that flared up seems to have quieted down now that the seasonal madness has passed. So that's good.
On a more positive note, the doctors have finally convinced my mother to get knee replacement surgery. Which should get her up out of the chair she's been in since she came back from the hospital around this time last year.
And hopefully, the result of that will be that I no longer have to run the entire household myself. Meals, pills, driving, shopping, etc...
....which means I might finally get enough of my life back to start drawing again. Hopefully.
2024 was an absolute trainwreck of a year for me, and I'd like to thank everyone who stuck by me while it played out. Especially the patreon patrons, however many of them are left.
The light at the end of this tunnel is drawing closer. Here's to hoping it's not another fucking train.

But I'll still be here. Your arts worth it, but you yourself are more than so. When it comes is when it comes, so by luck or grace, 2025 will be a lot brighter.
