Magykit is an open species created by 
cosmicinu They have a few species rules to keep them cohesive as a species but are otherwise open to creative interpretation.
They are a small magically inclined species standing no taller than 4 foot. They resemble a mix of rabbit, cat, squirrel and fox, with rodent like hand paws, cat like feet paws, long ears and very long fox like tails. They have 2 sets of eyes and ears, and carnivorr teeth.
What is an open species?
An open species is a species of anthropomorphic characters that anyone can create their own character of. There are a few rules to keep the characters in the species on model but are otherwise not regulated.
Do you need to ask permission to make a magykit?
No. You do not need permission to make a magykit. However free bases and commission slots are available to assist in creation of your magykit.
What are the scrolls?
The scrolls are a living list of all known and recognized magykit by the creator cosmicinu
How do i get my magykit in the scrolls?
You either commission a reference sheet from Cosmic Inu, or submit a copy of your reference sheet to be added. You can use the free to use bases as your reference sheet.
Are crystal traits locked or limited traits?
No, crystal traits are not locked behind a paywall but are limited by lore to 1 per magykit. Please take the limitation into consideration when creating your magykit.
What if i don't want to design my own but i still want one?
You can always adopt one of the premade magykits from Cosmic Inu or request a random adopt be made for you on commission.
Rules of creation.
All magykit must follow these rules to be considered a magykit. Please try to keep your magykit on model when creating to keep the species coherent.
1)All magykit must have 4 ears.
2)All magykit are bipedal
3)No magykit can have more than 2 eye colors
4)No magykit can have multiple tails unless a crystal trai trait is present for a max of 2
5)No magykit can have wings ( a subspecies with this trait will be coming soon)
6)No magykit can have aquatic features ( a subspecies with these traits will be coming soon)
