Wow, uh, thanks?
I was planning on saying that this is the most followers I've had on anything, ever, but now that I see that number and I think about it, this is probably more followers than I've had on everything, ever. That's counting twitter twice, bluesky, my youtube channel I don't post on, and if it still exists, the FiMFiction account I posted some garbage fic to when I was like 11 or something.
If you're a person who has never hit triple digits before too, I think now is a good time to picture that. Say you have 12 followers. That doesn't seem a lot, but you know who else had 12 followers? Granted, yours probably aren't as loyal as JC's, but have you seen Da Vinci's Last Supper? That's a lot of people!! An entire Premier League squad can be up to 25 people. Have you seen those group photos? That's a lot of people saying, hey, I like this, I wanna see more.
Now I don't have easy comparisons for all the way up to 100, so we'll skip to there. If you've worked in retail, or any other high-throughput customer-facing job, then a hundred customers probably isn't a big deal to you, you see that shit several times a day. But 100 customers who are here for you? Not your boss, not your brand, not the product that came in from the factory this morning - you.
That feels kinda nice.
I wanted to do a giveaway/raffle as a thank you, but I've kind of got a lot on my plate right now, so it'll have to wait. Maybe 111 watchers :P
And a P.S. to the people who read almost everything I put out: I see you in my faves. You're insane. I love you.
