Hello! I'm whipping out the capitals and punctuation in a journal because this one is actually kind of important to me.
Nick Gets Fucked - Part 3A is out.
It took a very long road to get here, including the greatest creative challenge I have EVER faced (and hope to face), but that's in the past now. This journal is here to talk about the future.
If you've read 3A already, you'll know that it doesn't exactly provide a... conclusion. In fact, it very much does the opposite. There's some worldbuilding, a pawful of new characters introduced, and Nick gets assigned a new role at the mansion. Safe to say, the story of Nick and Thaddeus is not finished. I'll just say that at time of typing this journal I have roughly 8k words of 'brief planning scribbles' accrued for the future.
So yes, this story arc will continue.
But.
You can't build a mansion on a shaky foundation. Listen- I know people like it, they keep favoriting it, but NGF1 is my worst story. I still love the themes and scenario, that won't be changing, but god it needs a rewrite, so I'm going to do that. Part 2A also has sections that I want to tweak, so I'm unsure if that will get a full rewrite or only a partial.
3A is fine as is, but this version that I've just published is like... the version that I had the idea for before I had the idea for all the future stuff. It serves the purpose of completing a quick force-fem fantasy, but there are some gentle tweaks that can be made to make it a much stronger starting point for this sudden breach into the wider world of everything within the mansion's walls.
I'll also start crossposting to AO3. I've mentioned before how much that scares me, but I really want to start taking this story more seriously. Hence why the rewrites will also be dropping the "A".
I'm not saying I'm abandoning the branching thing, that may still happen if I get the right kinds of inspiration, but this new stuff *is* Nick Gets Fucked now. When I think of NGF, I think of the entertainments division, and I have for a long time now. This is no longer one branch of many, the former "A" branch is now the main timeline. Everything else can just be... alternate universes.
But anyway, back to taking it seriously. If you've read 3A already, you'll have noticed some (hopefully) intense themes and tonal shifts. Hopefully, you felt bad for Nick at parts, but still masturbated to his suffering when I made it really hot. That will continue into Part 4 and beyond. The sad, gut-wrenching parts will get sadder, and the sex scenes and scenarios will get hotter.
I have a story I want to tell. I have emotions I want to impart. I have characters I want you to love and hate. I think the ending I've already planned is really fun.
This is by no means a pledge that updates will be more frequent, or that the things I've mentioned are coming anytime soon - because the last time I pledged that it didn't go great. Seriously, go read the author's note at the top of 2A, it's hilarious in retrospect. To be honest, once this has gone up, I'll probably want a break where I try not to even think about Nick Gets fucked for a while. It's been on my mind for like 5 years now, so yeah.
I really hope you enjoyed, and will enjoy. It's been absolute anguish to work on at times and it's been an absolute pleasure to go through that anguish.
