Obviously it's because firing a grenade launcher like that with one extended arm is a definite safety hazard due to recoil.

Actually not that much recoil from a grenade launcher, about as much as a 12ga, so pretty doable one-handed. The problem is the weight/balance of the thing, like holding that same 12ga shotgun with an extended arm lol. Unless it's an underbarrel like an M203, then there's virtually zero recoil. Source - I'm retired military and have fired both.

According to what I heard, he had clear markers on the prop when he brought it in, and then he removed it once he got it past security.

Yeah, no skin off my nose. I SHOULD make more fun of them, but it's not worth it. High road or whatever :P I once worked on a comic back in the 90s, and we had made one of the villains (the best/coolest character) gay, it really had nothing to do with his motives, he wasn't gay because he was a villain, he wasn't a villain because he was gay, he was a 'human' you know? Anyway, that was a big uproar from readers who felt attacked. And it's like, 'unless you kill people for money, that's the only reason you should feel this character represents you' lol OH WELL

Entertainment is kind of an awful business, I'm trying to get out of it

I want to further indicate that I would never want to make anyone feel bad with my entertainment, we ended the series tough BECAUSE of that, which i think illustrates my good intentions. Everyone is so ready to attack anything they don't like,I'm 10000% behind equal rights and showing respect and understanding to those around you, but i also wish people were a little tougher.

I'm on the exact same boat. I think the main problem nowadays is the concern with representation and with people projecting themselves on characters that happen to share one or two traits with themselves. Life's just not that simple and no one's trying to make a copy of yourself in their own works.

It's just unreasonable. But then again maybe I just think this way 'cause I didn't grow up in North America!
