"I have a burning desire to get some shit done." I loved how unapologetic is was for it's inspirations. So many people talked smack about it, but I all I heard was a whole lot of crits from people who ain't made shit before. I enjoyed a lot of it, and would like to see it edited and refined a bit more. The second episode was a lot better than the first, the first felt like it needed episodes like The Mandolorian, the second didn't feel like it needed that treatment. Dude liked some stuff, and made a thing with that stuff in it, felt like Metal Hurlant or Heavy Metal to me.

That is what a lot of people are saying, I for one 'don't mind' and also like, it was better AND not as good as those things in many ways. I love art, and a ton of artists busted their asses to make this thing. I heard he's going to do a new edit, I hope he can fix the first part to be as good as the second part.

It'll only cost you 4 hours I suppose, haha, not like a 10 hour series. But the second movie is better than the first, and really, almost stands on its own. The first movie was like just a crazy long trailer imo, of cool shit, the second movie was a little story about a battle.

Glad to hear of another positive review for Rebel Moon. Thankfully, the Directors Cuts, Chapter One: Chalice of Bloodhave (2024) and Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness (2024) been confirmed to release in the 2nd of August this year. Along with Twilight of the Gods the next month after. I too enjoyed the Rebel Moons films. But fully aware that much was gonna be cut when they gave first two theatrical releases. But i'm very much excited for Zacks true vision of the Rebel Moon movies.
